Saturday's game has been moved to November 15 due to Gustov. This is actually a good thing in my opinion because it breaks up the SEC schedule. Instead of having a bye week, we have a game against what should be a moderately easy team. Being in the toughest division in college football is going to eventually wear down on us as the season goes on. This will be a good breather game where we can relax our better players and give some young hungry blood a chance to see the field at tiger stadium, all while keeping the momentum going from the previous games. We will be going into our match against Troy directly after Bama and their coach *cough cough slime ball cough cough*. That is going to be mentally draining. This way we can use the Troy game as a recovery game and get our heads back on straight for the end of the season stretch. Bye weeks are either great for losing teams or terrible for winning teams because it breaks the normal flow of action. We will not be a losing team, I can assure you that. As a winning team we don't want to have a bye week and then come out rusty for our next game against Ole Miss. It also comes in the middle of a 4 game home stretch which will now be 5 games. When LSU has a home game, you can't help but feel sorry as you laugh at the other team go down in flames. When LSU has 5 home games in a row and gets settled in, the other teams might as well start crying about the loss before the game begins. A hurricane can rattle us around but it's gonna take a hell of a lot to get Mike and his 94,000 friends to begin to think that we are in danger. Next up is North Texas which is our last tune up before heading out to Auburn to start the SEC season. Nobody said this season would be easy. I said that this season is going to bring us home the coaches trophy again. And lets be honest, how can we not. We are DAMN STRONG and DAMN PROUD.
